Advanced Algebra (MQS21H - MQS22H)

Advanced Algebra is a one-year course in which students continue to study the algebraic concepts learned in Algebra II/Trigonometry. Topics include sequences and series, polynomial functions, and conic sections. Material taught in this course is very similar to that taught in Advanced Algebra 1, but at a faster pace.

Prerequisite: < 80% in Algebra II/Trigonometry

Notes:
  1. Although most students do complete the full year of Advanced Algebra, some students who excel in this course may opt to take Beginning Calculus in the spring term and go on to study Calculus AB.
  2. Students who complete this course often study Business and the Social Sciences, or AP Statistics, in their senior year.
