Newsweek ranked Townsend Harris STEM Program 237th in the US

Newsweek and STEM.org Educational Researchâ„¢ (SER) just completed a 4-year study of STEM Programs in US High Schools* and released its list of the top 5000 STEM programs (there are more than 23000 high schools in the US).

The Math, Science and Technology Department is proud to have been recognized by Newsweek Magazine as a top STEM High School. We ranked #237th, placing us in the top 5% of the 5000 ranked schools.

This is important news for our community because learning at a top Humanities-focused high school that also ranks in the top 5% of the top 5000 US STEM high schools means that our students are being prepared to do ANYTHING!!

Kudos to all of the Math, Science and Technology Teachers and to all of our students for this accomplishment.
