hi Johnson Harris hopefully this is going to be a quick tutorial about how to get a Queens Public Library ecard if you live in New York state you are a qualify for a library card from all three City systems Queens public Brooklyn Public in New York public right now I'm showing you Queens public you go to Queens Library. Org which you can see abs beer in my a Dress Barn and if you want you can also just Google Queens Library and it will be the first hit in the results that usually is it should be can you get to this website here you're going to click on the orange link get any card after you click on it the digital application is going to open and the reason why I like fun and I don't care a bit because I already started filling it out and had a fuse with the recording so I just didn't want to fill it out again so this is the first step and just going to check your eligibility you going to enter your first name your last name your date of birth your email address I'm using a town you know that address I am not I want to repeat I am not spending this application because I already have a Queens Library Card I don't need another one this is just for demonstration purposes my advice to you is to use an email address that you check often that you are not going to forget that if you put email if you put materials on hold or if you do any Library Quest that's the email address they're going to use if you want to make sure it's not one that you remember to check you can include phone number you don't have to and then you can indicate whether or not it's a mobile phone I prefer that they get in touch with me through email it's just easier for me and I verify that I live in New York state when I click continue to The Next Step they're going to ask for your address just for example example purposes I used to School's address you should put your own mailing address here I put I agree to notify Queens Library if my address changes I can submit my application now or I can go on to the next step which personalized is my experience night so I'm going to personalize my experience a little bit and unfortunately my internet is a bit slow and eventually it will open up but while it's opening I'm going to go over some things with you because you're in New York state resident you qualify to get a library card from Office systems at Queens of Brooklyn and that's New York public my advice to you is to get those three different cards because each of the library system has different different resources different databases different movies different Subscription Service games and someone and it's to your benefit to have library cards from each of the Sith your tax dollars to parents tax dollars for those things you should definitely take advantage of them omen there we go here is personalizing my do you want the library to keep track of the materials you borrow you can opt in or out I personally opt out I don't want a record of my library reading but if you want the library to be able to tell you what you read last year you can click yes that's perfectly fine my preferred language is English but there are many different languages to choose from and my home library is Bellerose the Bell Rose brand now when I click continue I'm going to review all the information to make sure that please correct write my name my birthday my address my contact information personalizing and here you have to agree and I'm going to be responsible for any materials that I borrow I'm going to notify Library if my card is lost or stolen and I agreed to Queens libraries privacy policy and if you want to read it you just click right here then you're going to click submit remember when you have an e-card and you borrow ebooks audio streaming services you can't return materials late if you forget to return materials they automatically go back to the library which makes it fine free a great thing so take a minute apply for Queens Library card after you hit submit you should get an email with your barcode and then you would set a pin and you can get to borrow any material if you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to email me a liberty at Townsend Harris.
